Time for Equality, now officially registered as a non-profit association in Luxembourg, will celebrate its new status and its first year of activity by signing the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg.
Conference and Official Signing Session on May 27 at 4 pm in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The event will take place in the presence of Corinne Cahen, Minister of Family, Integration and the Great Region, and Patron of the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg.
The Diversity Charter is a text composed of 6 articles, which any Luxembourg company or organisation can sign in order to express its commitment to promoting diversity in their working environment by concrete actions that go beyond the legal and regulatory obligations of non-discrimination. Its objective is to encourage organisations to guarantee the respect and promotion of diversity in their workforce.
Over the last few years, Diversity Charters have been set up in different European countries, e.g. France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden Austria and Poland, under the impulsion of the European Commission
In line with its goal of promoting equality, diversity and inclusion at all levels of society, including employment and the working environment, Time for Equality is proud to join the Diversity Charter initiative in Luxembourg and ready to actively contribute with its passion and expertise to the achievement of the Charter’s objectives.
